Welcome to
The Nation of
Why Not
Way More Than
A Cruise',
but ?Why Not?? helps us
communicate the range of
possibilities we have on our
ships through our onboard
innovations. It gives us the
freedom to do things other
cruise lines wouldn?t dare
|
Why not climb mountains at sea?
Why not sunbathe past glaciers?
Why not surf from Southampton to Sardinia?
Why not choose from over 290 destinations
worldwide and 22 cutting edge
ships?
It's all possible in the Nation of Why Not?
So, why not encourage your customers to expand
their horizons with a cruise adventure unlike
any
other, with Royal Caribbean International?
Whilst our nation is brand new, its principles
have guided Royal Caribbean International
since our first cruise in 1970. In our four
decade
journey, we have constantly sought and discovered
new challenges for our guests imagination,
providing them with experiences undreamt of
on other vacations.
Where our `Way More Than A Cruise' campaign
changed the landscape and perception of cruising
by bringing a whole new energy to the marketplace,
the `Nation of Why Not' encourages our guests
to further expand their horizons to all manner
of activities and experiences and demonstrates
the full spectrum of ways we consistently
deliver the WOW.

What will this mean
to you?
Well, none of the fantastic things Royal Caribbean
International is known for changes - we still have
the world's newest, largest and most exciting
cruise fleet - 22 spectacular ships providing Gold
Anchor Service. We still offer amazing itineraries,
exciting shore excursions and most of all we still
offer great value for money cruises.
It's what we've always done and is what we continue
to do.

The Nation of Why Not
is the world's only floating nation. Its
22 ships roam freely among the nation's 361,000,000
square
kilometres of ocean. At any given moment, the
Nation's 22 ships
are home to 20,000 residents and over 50,000 guests.
History
In 1968, the founders of Royal Caribbean said
"Why Not?" to
building ships for the sole purpose of cruising
the Caribbean, with
larger common areas for innovative amenities and
Viking Crown
lounges which transformed functional smokestacks
into works of
art. Three ships later, the groundwork for the
Nation of Why Not
had been laid with vessels unlike any the cruising
world had ever
seen before. Ever since, the words "Why Not?"
have governed the
growth of a cruise line, destined to one day become
its own nation.
Culture
In order to help its guests better embody the
idea of "Why Not?"
the Nation has equipped each of its ships with
cultural tools of all
kinds, tools not generally available on journeys
at sea, such as ice
skating rinks and cantilevered whirlpools.
|
The Nation encourages
all guests to participate in and attempt things
they would never normally consider.
Innovations
Royal Caribbean are leaders in cruise ship innovations,
bringing
the world many cruise industry firsts. The ships
are equipped with
an amazing array of activities, including:
Rock Climbing wall
Ice Skating Rink
Boxing Ring
FlowRider

With such a wide range of activities
everyday onboard our
Nation includes a "Why Not?" moment
of some kind.
